    Calling all Stone Mountain, Lithonia and Stonecrest residents and business owners! Here's your chance to win up to $2000 for your black-owned business. Presenting the SeKure the Bag Virtual Pitch Competition by the Tau Pi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® in partnership with the Council for Community Enrichment, Inc. This competition strives to encourage community, expand reach, inspire action and build economic legacy.

  •   CCE, Inc. Celebrates 10 Outstanding Scholars

     

     

    2018 Scholarship RecipientsThe Council for Community Enrichment, Inc. and Tau Pi Omega Chapter, of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.,  awarded $10,000 in scholarships to an amazing group of students. The selected students will attend colleges, such as, University of Georgia, Kennesaw State University, Florida A&M, Alabama and Clark Atlanta University

     

     

    The Scholarship Committee, under the leadership of Dr. Wilma Toney-Drayton, Chairman, and Ms. Jasmine C. Thompson, Co-Chairman, honored the students and their family on Saturday, June 9, at a lunch reception representing each of their respective colleges/universities with a “one of a kind” designed reef.

  • CCE, Inc. and Tau Pi Omega Chapter Donates Backpacks

     

    Backpack donation

     

    On July 28th, The Council for Community Enrichment, Inc. and Tau Pi Omega Chapter, of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., donated 40 backpacks to Georgia Hope, Inc, a Foster Care and Adoption Agency, at the Annual BBQ and Backpack Giveaway.  The backpacks and supplies are provided to students as they begin the school year prepared to embrace their academic studies. 
    Ms. Tammy Smith, a Georgia Hope Board Member, presented the backpacks on behalf of The Council for Community Enrichment, Inc. and Tau Pi Omega Chapter
